Goodbye 2008 HELLO 2009

It has been a year of many great and not so great things. As always. But this year was special for me.
This year I finally came to terms with myself - with my sexuality. And I told my family (parents, sister, brother-in-law) - pretty big steps for a girl who wouldn't admit it to herself for years. The rest of my family doesn’t know (or at least I haven't told them yet).
Like I've written before - I realized that I had never been in love with a man - only women (and girls - when I was younger). And although I have yet to experience the physical part of being with a woman - I know that it's for me. I've never really enjoyed being with a man (physically) - but it felt like that was expected. "Get a boyfriend, get married, have 2,5 kids". So I did - got a boyfriend (but not until I was 19). I even got married (at 24 - and divorced at 25. No kids though). And it turned out it was all in my head. When I came out to my parents, my dad said: "I don't care who you are dating. As long as you are happy!"
Some might say that it was about time I figured it out - but I guess I've always known that I was attracted to women. Just never admitted it.
If I have to label myself, I guess I would have to go with 'bisexual' for now. But I prefer the term 'gay'. I think it's more fluent.

I discovered "The L Word" (all 5 seasons), "Loving Annabelle" and "Imagine Me And You" among other movies/series this year.

Further more 2008 was the year I got to 'know' a whole bunch of people on YouTube, AfterEllen, Blogger/Blogspot, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook... Well on the Internet.
And I think they are part of the reason I finally came out - both to myself but also to my nearest family. Not that I thought there was anything wrong with being gay - but still. In the words of a much 'hated' singer this year: "That's not what good girls do". Guess what? They do!

And as for my resolutions this year... I actually first decided not to have any. Mainly because I tend to break them. But thinking about what I would do different next year I ended up with:

  1. Not 'play' straigt every single time a cute girl talks to me (for some really odd reason I always have to bring up 'my ex-husband'. Why do I do that?)

  2. Go for it! (I tend to be uber careful about almost everything. It's time to loosen up a bit. And jump into things.)

  3. Maybe I'll watch some Battlestar Galactica and listen to Tegan and Sara - just to see what all the fuzz is about ;o)

Who knows? 2009 might just be my year.

So all that's left to say is:

I hope you all have a Happy New Year

Photoserver.WS
Photoserver.WS
...And I hope you don't feel all too Photoserver.WS or Photoserver.WS .....

See you next year.

Ten People (or so) I'd Like To Meet:

As so many before me, I wanted to make a list of some people I'd like to meet. But my problem is, that there are so many people I have come to 'know' this year, that I don't event know where to begin!!!

Well actually I tried to make a list, but every time I felt like ‘I’m done’ more names kept popping up in my head. So I just kept writing…. After a long, long, long, long time of trying to narrow it down I ended up with this.

In random order (is there any other way to do this?):

The Beaver Bunch (Michelle, Lori, AJ, Jess, Lu/Laura, Kade)
Bridget McManus (and hopefully Karman Kregloe will be there as well)
Dara Nai
Sarah Warn (and Lori Grant)
Jill Bennett
Erin Kelly
Rachel Maddow
Meghan Tonjes (That girl can sing!. Her Collab Project Lifesize's Channel on YouTube.)
Rachel Shelley
5awesomegays

And those who almost made the list (well they are on my I'd like to meet-list but I had to narrow it down, right?):
Katherine Brooks/Diane Gaidry
The cast from 3way/Liz Feldman, Raimy Rosenduft/BJ Fletcher, George Drew, Jenna Watson (should I know their real names?)/StuntDouble/Dorothy Snarker/....pretty much everybody at AfterEllen.com (How to choose?)
Jill Hanner (
xgobobeanx)
Michael Buckley (Yeah he's on
YouTube too)
A whole bunch of other YouTube'rs (I know I've mentioned some, but there are more, so many more I'd like to meet. Like
DatAintRight, azrienoch, katlitter, misscupcake1, imaJENtleman, caughtnbetween, projectblogsphere, GeneticBlend and many, many, many more.....)

Why do I find it so difficult finding people (I want to meet) that are not connected to either YouTube or AfterEllen? Sometimes I think I have more contact with my ‘Internet-family’ than my real family….
Jeeze I got to get a life….

Maybe I should make at list of people I'd like to hang out with...?
Or maybe I should just go hang out with some real people - and stop making lists about every thing ;o)
Except maybe my 100 things to do before I turn 40-list... :o)

Project for Awesome:

The Project for Awesome:

"Every year, YouTube's Community takes over YouTube for a day...and instead of being stupid or funny or informative...we promote charities. Just one day a year...we'll get back to being silly tomorrow."

It started yesterday.

Two fathers...

This is a Dutch song performed by a Dutch children's choir "Kindern voor Kindern" (Children for children). It's not a new song (maybe 2 years old) - I just didn't know it was out there.

It's called "Twee vaders" - which means two fathers.
There's English subtitles.

You can read more about the choir here.

Statcounter - and what I do with it....

I have StatCounter.
I got it, so I could see if anybody actually watched my blog.
Not that it matters - well obviously it matters. I love having followers and I love that people actually read what I write. But what I mean is, that I would probably write anyway....

There's also this thing (on StatCounter), that tells you what people are looking for, when they reach your page/blog.

What's the main search for the moment:
- Karman Kregloe (sorry Bridget...)

Karman leads by far, but she's followed by:
- Bridget Mcmanus and Karman Kregloe
- Beaver Bunch

The top 3 varies, but not much. Other words like: married?, truth or dare, gay... are added to the requests.

So maybe I need to write more about Karman Kregloe - or about the fact that Karman Kregloe and Bridget McManus are indeed married. And maybe I need to write more about The Beaver Bunch.

Or maybe people will never find exatcly they are searching for... 'cause I dont have all the answers.

YouTube does pay!!!!

But only if you make your own videos (and a lot of them) and make partner.
Michael Buckley is one of them. He's on YouTube with WHATTHEBUCKSHOW and Peron75. And he's just been on CNN.

Now all I need to do is - well - start to make my own videos (if only I wasn't so camerashy...). And then (when they catch on) make YouTube partner...
Maybe that'll happen next year....
What? A girl can dream, right?

The Awareness Test...

How aware are you?

I sooo failed :o(

This weeks topic on The Beaver Bunch:

It's monday, so here's the topic:

We've spoken about high school, but what happens with life after highschool? Baby Beaver Shelby is curious about what we did right after we graduated and how we ended up where we did today.

GO WATCH!

I know. I know! I have to stop obsessing about the L Word...

But I JUST HAVE TO share this with you.

If you like LOVE The L Word...
If you are obsessed with are on Facebook..
If you can't get enough of AfterEllen and their amazing writers (in this case the talented stuntdouble.)

THEN you HAVE to watch this.

I was litterally LOL and ROFLMAO. SOOOOOO funny!!!

New baby Porter-Kennard? SPOILER. I guess...

I found this on LesPlaneteng's blog.

As far as I can tell, it's from Season 6 of The L Word.

Labyrinth... Never Ending Story...

Movies with a fantasy theme. When I was younger, I loved them. (As do I today.)

So here's a few YouTube videos.
Kindda like a blast from the past.

Labyrinth.

David Bowie plays the Goblin King and Jennifer Connelly plays the teenage girl, Sarah, solving his labyrinth. The movie is about Sarah and her baby brother whom she accidentally wished away to the goblins. And how she's to get him back.

Never Ending Story.
I know this is more of a music video - but I love the song as well. And it's the same name as the movie and the book (written by Michael Ende).

So I found a video with the three main characters (Falkor the luckdragon, Atreyu and Bastian). I YYY Falkor.

Goblins and Dragons...
No wonder I love Harry Potter.

WTF????????????????????????

Okay. I know it's a strange world out there, but why...? Why???? Why would anyone think that THIS is a good idea?
I mean...COME ON PEOLPLE? WTF? And might I just add EWWW!!

Anybody else heard of the "Semen Cookbook" (Yes, semen... WTF?)

This most certainly deserves a "My eyes! My eyes!"-bunny. Sarah Warn, could I please borrow that - along with the others?

What Type of Lesbian Are You? (Inspired by Curve Mag.)

So I took this quiz called: What Type of Lesbian Are You? (Inspired by Curve Mag.).

And weirdly enough I thought it was spot on.

The full result is somewhere on my blog 444444444444 overthere...

"You Scored as The Surprise! Dyke
Despite the dead giveaways, such as the tattoos and love of the L Word, people still seem to think that you're straight."

I do have tattoos. (Just two - but still...)
I own a motorcyle.
I love the L Word (and Loving Annabelle, Imagine Me and You, etc.).
I'm addicted to AfterEllen.
I have 'gay hands' ;-)

But somehow people still don't know I'm gay. Why is that?

Day Without a Gay

Tomorrow (Dec. 10th) it's "Day Without a Gay" in the U.S. It's a respons to the "Yes" on Prop. 8. (So it's the first "Day Witout a Gay" ever).
What you are supposed to do is "...to call in Gay...". Like when you call in sick - only tomorrow you call in gay. Or - if you don't want to do that (for random reasons) - just don't buy anything.
It's an effort to show (the U.S.) government that the gay contribute to the economy - big time.

This is a video created by the Jennifer Vanasco and John Polly, the editors of 365gay.com and NewNowNext.com, to show how tomorrow might be like.

Gay music and video from NewNowNext.com

Sir Rupert, the Gay Knight

This is a video I found on my second home YouTube. It has had over 364,257 views. It was made by thinkmorepink.

I like it.

First two minutes of the last season of The L Word

Now everybody pretty much know by now who dies.
But if you by some kind of misfortune didn't know - and you want to - you can watch it right here.

The third spoiler:

Beaver Bunch: Questions for the week.

This weeks questions:

So there seems to be one comment/question/concern that we receive QUITE often...and that is the “ring finger myth”, Beavs flaunt those fingers, and show the Baby Beavs if you make the case for the study that says you can tell a homo by their hands.

And here are some quick questions to cover after you flex your fingers.

1.) What is the most overused saying?
2.) What is your favorite saying?
3.) What are your Careers?
4.) Blondes or Brunettes?
5.) Favorite movie of all time?
6.) Did you ever have a crush on a teacher?

Now.
GO WATCH!!

PS. I apparently have 'lesbian hands'. At least my index finger is shorter than my ring finger. Yay?

Gay on Grey: And the Saga continues...

Now why can’t I write like that?

Granted.
I'm not native to the written English word (and it sometimes is hard to find the proper translation to the sayings or jokes in my language).
And I can't watch ABC - so I'm not up to date on the currant events on Greys Anatomy (not since Hester gave up on the show).
But still...

This is what YouTube do to you!!!

I spend waaaay too much time on YouTube.

Sniff Swig Puff
Rock Hudson and Bea Arthur

Is it wrong that a girl my age loved “Golden Girls”? I thought they were hilarious.

Golden Girls bloopers

More Golden Girls - Greatest moments

And the Golden Girls - The lesbian lovers from Miami

Dorothy's lesbian friend (Part 1)

To watch the others:
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

Enough of that.

But I couldn't quit - could I... Next clips are from WGN, BwB, SMMWT, 3way and other AfterEllen vlogs/vloggers

3way – I kissed a girl

I know a lot of people don't like that song - but I think it works with this video. (Ecxept for the "...it doesn't matter.."-part. Bridget DOES matter!!!)

We’re Getting Nowhere – Charlie’s Angles

We're Getting Nowhere/Brunch With Bridget

We’re Getting Nowhere – Randomness

AfterEllen.com

WGN – Mrs. and Mrs. Smith

Like I said. I spend waaaay too much time at YouTube (and on AfterEllen) - but I enjoy it Y.

SheWired.com

If you can't get enough of lesbian websites - or if you can't get enough of Jill Bennett (or Cathy Debuono) - you should go here.
They (SheWired) calls it:

"The go-to site for women; lesbian, gay, bi queer, trans, straight girl but curious."

Sorry... Couldn't resist...

Now I like The L Word...
And I like AfterEllen....
And I like Dorothy Snarker's comments...
I'm actually not that into fashion - but I do pay attention sometimes...

So what do you get if you put them all together:

One FUNNY lady talking about The L Word - and fashion crime - on her AfterEllen blog...

This made me laugh. Out loud. Several times.
(Especially the Kit and Shane comments...)

Now I know it's not a new post - but it's still funny. And it has some great pictures.

Enjoy!

The Beaver Bunch

This weeks topic:

Alright Beavers, it's time to think back to High School...we had a Baby Beaver ask the following: As a highschooler I was wondering how you guys dealt with homophobia when YOU were in highschool. I'm sure (as I definately do) you guys had to listen to homophobic remarks from classmates and backhanded comments from teachers. I'm sometimes torn about when to speak up- If I said something everytime I heard 'thats so gay' or 'you're such a fag' then... that would be basically every second of my day. You know the saying "choose your battles"- I guess I'm trying to ask when it is that you choose your battles/how did you deal with homophobia in high school.

So go watch their answers.
Remember it's a new Beaver Mondy-Friday.

L Word... Season 6 cast commentary...

First there's the second spoiler (with Lucy Lawless as a cop), and then the commentary follows.

Enjoy!

Now...

My favorite part of the storyline this season is that Dylan returns. (Yeah I like Dylena - thought they were very, very cute together. Helena met her match.)
And from what I could tell, there seem to be some sort of story there. (Watch from 3.50.) And the two brief (very brief) scenes between them (Watch 4.24 - 4.26). Now that just made my Christmas!
I just hope Ilene Chaiken doesn't f*ck it up make a mess of the whole thing.

If you can't get enough of the L Word read Dorothy Snarkers post on the very subject...

Remember it's World's AIDS day.

Webcams....and why don't they work...!

So now that I spend a lot of time on YouTube, I was thinking of getting a webcamera.
Well actually I got one - but I guess it was to cheap because there's this delay on the sound. It's like 3 or 4 seconds in the clip before the sound actually follows. Maybe it doesn't sound like a lot, but then you try it...

Now my problem is that I don't know what webcam to get. I mean, it's not like I have a lot of money on my hands (and with Christmas coming and all...), but still. It's got to work right. Sound and pictures that works together = video.

I could really use some help here.
What should I look for?
Or even better. Which do you use, and does it work?

Spoiler... L Word... We know who dies!!!

If you don't want to know who dies in "The L Word" don't look any further on this post...

Surfing the internet I found pictures.
Now I don't know if these are some kind of a stunt, or if they really show us who dies in the final season.

Look for yourself:

Apparently it's Jenny...

Well it fits with the description form the last promo:

..Some kind of a party. 7 Ladies inside and a little girl
......found a woman in the swimmingpool.....

Well I only counted 6 women in the first picture: Beth, Tina, Alice, Helena, Shane and Kit (I think it's her 'coz we see her face later on, but she sits with her back first and kindda blocking for Shane a bit). And of course Angelica. But I don't know if Jenny is number 7...?

Both Jenny and Beth looks like they went for a swim, but Beth is the only one still moving. Maybe she tried to save Jenny?

Allthough it seems that we know who, we still don't know why.
I'm still gonna watch it. Even if it's gonna be waaaay later than January.....

There are more pictures of this, and some of Beth, Tina (and Angelica who appears to be ill..?..) here.

To those of you who celebrate (I'm European...):
Happy Thanksgiving!

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Yet another promo...

And the suspension increases:

Listen to the dialog:

Some kind of a party. 7 Ladies inside and a little girl....
..found a woman in the swimmingpool..

And I think it's Xena (Lucy Lawless), who plays the lady cop...

Thanx to Rommel for leading me to this video.

Damn! I hate that I don't live in the U.S right now (or at least in January). I won't be able to watch the final season when it aires...

Truth or dare.... With The Beaver Bunch

This week it's TRUTH or DARE on The Beaver Bunch:
Remember it's a new Beaver every day of the week (weekend not included...) so if you want their answers be sure to tune in.

I don't know if it is going to be various truths and dares, but the Beavers (the Bunch) choose from what questions/truths/dares the Baby Beavers (and other Beavers not part of the Bunch) ask them.

ENJOY!!!

Also check out their personal channels (the Bunch) on YouTube:

Monday: Jess

Tuesday: Lori

Wednesday: AJ

Thursday: Michelle

Friday: Lu

Monthly: Kade

And while you are on YouTube, why don't you check out the channel of 5awesomegays?

It's kind of like The Beaver Bunch only it's guys - gay guys.

The L Word......

Final season:
First there was this promo:

For those who didn't quite catch this...

And it most certainly was a teaser:
Was someone going to get killed? Who? Why?
For a really good suggestion - look here.
But I thought that it was just a way to make people all worked up about it (as if the knpwledge of it being the final season wasn't enough).

Apparently it wasn't just for fun:
The second promo.

I saw this on Dorothy Snarkers blog - Dorothy Surrenders. She says it all way better than I could ever do.

Also she writes a blog on AfterEllen. Read her post on the second The L Word promo here.

Pretty pretty unicorn...

This weeks topic(s) for The Beaver Bunch.

If you enjoy being physical with men (whether it be some men or all men), but enjoy being with girls much more, and in general are more attracted to women - would it be acceptable to call yourself gay?

What do you think of "don't ask don't tell," and what would you say to someone who came to terms with their sexuality only after joining the military? Also, while the "don't ask
don't tell" is the policy, do you think gay people should even consider joining the military?

Since it's only Thursday Lu hasn't answered yet, but I really think you should go watch the others answers. And then go watch Lu tomorrow!

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

What's your type...?

Someone recently asked me what my type is. My answer was "I don't think I have one..."
But it got me thinking.

My first crush was this tall - very tall - girl with long darkbrown hair and piercing blue eyes. And a ton of freckles. She was so cute. This was 4th grade. And she had just transfered to my school. My age.

My second crush - the really big one (it haunted me for years) - was my 7th grade English-teacher. And it wasn't just me. It was more or less the entire class.
She had darkblond hair. Blue eyes. Very pretty smile. Glasses. And older than my mom! But I adored her. I can't describe it. And everybody respected her (not any of our other teachers had that privilige...)

So far notting similar. But...

Since then most of my crushes:
- Have been slightly older than me (allthough a few have been younger)
- Have had dark hair (dark as possible - almost black)
- Have had dark eyes (brownish)
- Have been taller than me

And they have been authorities. Not like in lawyers or police or... But.. It's hard to explain. I guess it's a respect thing. Or a 'in control' kind of thing. I don't know.

The difference between those similar crushes has been that in a lot af them it was an immediate interest/attraction. Or sometimes it started as friendship and somewhere along the way I found myself attracted to them. (But I've never acted on it - I'm such a...)

So I guess I do have a type. But I don't go around thinking "Oh she's got green eyes. That's a no go!" (Well apparently I do think that - but it's not because of her eyes...)
I think its a coincidence what my type is. I see the whole person. Not just the hair colour, or the colour of her eyes. Otherwise I might have caught up on the fact that I apparently have a type, don't you think?

Maybe it's just that my type is girls?

Loving Annabelle... and me

I love "Loving Annabelle." And I was obsessed with it, when I got the DVD. I saw it EVERY DAY. Actually I saw at least once every day the first week – or two. Eventually I just skipped to the good parts (and refused to watch the ending - I'm over that now...)
Why was I so obsessed you might ask (well I suppose you don't - that would involve reading this post - but I asked myself then)?

1. Erin Kelly is hot! Duh!
2. Diane Gaidry is hot (and I'm not usually into blondes! Except for my first serious crush...)!
3. Several hot scenes!

4. I could relate to the story.
Not the boarding school-story.
Not the ‘I am a rebellion teenager’-story. (Well maybe just a bit…)
Certainly to the ‘I have a huge crush on my hot teacher’-story (Oh yeah..).
But I think my main obsession was with Simone’s story. Not the ‘I have a crush on my way younger student’ part of the story but her realization of her own desires – the ones who involve women. When she realizes that she’s allowed to be herself. That she’s allowed to be happy.
I WAS Simone in that story. All the way down to the very, very, very bad sex with the boyfriend. The look on her face during that scene (and it was brilliant acting. Brilliant!). It just… That was how I felt.
Now you might ask (or I did) why were you with a guy in the first place? Well I was not just ‘with him’. We actually were married… Not the happiest time of my life. What can I say? I did what I thought was expected of me – being a good girl and all. Well it’s a long story – a longer story than that. Maybe I’ll write more about that later…
Back to Simone… Or me…
I went through a journey much similar to Simone's.
From vague realization to denial to really big eye opener. And in between lots of major or minor crushes. But not recognized as such. More like: She looks hot - maybe I just want to own her clothes...? Or She's really cute - maybe I just want her as my friend...? Nah. Who was I kidding?

Anyway. I guess that was why I was obsessed this particular movie.

On a sidenote my first obsession with a gaymovie was with "Imagine Me And You". If you look beside the coming out story (and the hot women) it has a bit of denial and realization in it. Again. Relating! And obsession!

Bridget McManus and Karman Kregloe.

In the words of Liz Feldman:

This Just Out:

Please be sure to read the intire article. I only posted the last page because it was the one who was most surprising. (At least to me. But definitely not in a bad way). At first I thought it was a stunt, but now I'm not so sure.

18,000 gay and lesbian couples were married in California during the six months it was legal, before the passage of Prop 8.

AfterEllen posted pictures of some of the happy couples.

Congratulations to all of you.

What does HOMO really mean?

If human is called HOMO SAPIENS, why is it that we are not all homosexuals?
And why would we be that?
Because we all fall in love/or have sex with another human being. That would be another HOMO sapiens, people!!

Did you know that the term "heterosexual" was first listed in Merriam-Webster's New International Dictionary as a medical term for "morbid sexual passion for one of the opposite sex"?
Eventually they got rid of the word "morbid"...

Just some thoughts on the constant labelling that we do every day. Myself included.

Are you acting your age?

Well I must say that I was a bit surprised to see that I actually was acting almost to my age (I am currently 31 years old):

You Act Like You Are 29 Years Old

You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.
You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.
The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

What Age Do You Act?

I'm not sure I like the descibsion though. It's to accurate ;-)
"I don't know... I just thought I would have figured it all out by now..." (Simone in Loving Annabelle - Just by memory. So maybe it's not spot on... )

Obama wins - gays lose... All in one day.

Even though it's a big, big, big YAY to Obamas election, something clouded the joy.

I will qoute what Sarah Warn wrote on her blog on AfterEllen.com:
"American gay rights were delivered a blow tonight, as propositions and amendments that deny or prevent the legalization of same-sex marriage were approved in Arizona and Florida, and marriage rights were actually taken away in California. Arkansas also made it illegal for gay couples to adopt..."

(Here's the whole piece: http://www.afterellen.com/blog/sarahwarn/election-08-results)

Suddenly I'm quite satisfied to live where I live.
Here gays can registrer as partners (much like the marriage at the city hall). It has been legal since 1989. Gays can adopt. Single women (sexual orientation not an issue) can get help to get pregnant.

So why is it, that America isn't ready for that?
I thought that America was supposed to be a rolemodel. A Supernation. Something to be proud of. What happend to: All men are created equal?

I just hope for you that Obama really can make a change.

WTF ABC....?

I have been following Greys Anatomy (mainly on YouTube - since we are not so far in the show in my homecountry) and the evolving of Callie and Ericas relasionship...
But the I suddenly sees an article on AfterEllen.
ABC fired Brooke Smith - who plays Erica Hahn.
And the reason? Well, you better read it for yourself:

And apparently it was a surprise to others from the cast as well. Here's what Patrick Dempsey said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show":

All I have to add:

Bridget McManus

I just love her. She makes me cry - with laughter of course.
She's soooo funny. And it's not exactly a bad thing that she's cute (and hot!) too.
By the way. I would kill to have hair like that. It looks so soft and... Better not get started on that.
I can't quite remember if it was on AfterEllen.com or on YouTube I first saw her... Anyway. I guess that's not important. What is important is that I just can't seem to get enough of her. I have seen "Brunch with Bridget" so many times (going through the episodes one by one. Over and over again. Allthough I have my personal favorites).
And once again I thank you-know-who (and no it's not Voldemort) for YouTube.
Since I'm not an American, I haven't got the pleasure of seeing Miss McManus live so I turn to the second best. Lots and lots of videos!!!

I love comedy - especially when it's Bridget.
I heart Bridget!

I'm not a YouTube virgin anymore...

...so to speek.

I've just made (well actually that's not quite true, but)... erhm UPLOADED my first video to YouTube.

Yay me!!! ;-)

It's not exactly Katherine Brooks-good ('coz I can only DREAM of making movies the way she does....), but for a first-time upload I would actually say that it's - well - fair.

Anyways... Just wanted to share...

What can I say...

I guess I have to tell something about me...
Hmm...

Thinking...
Just thinking......

All right! I'm totally addicted to YouTube!!!!

I mean... All those videos.... And sooo little time.

Like... When I first discovered "Loving Annabelle" (and I sure do..), it was amazing to find deleted scenes that wasn't on the DVD (and even if "evolotionseeker" is the same as Katherine Brooks, it doesn't make it worse - she's amazing too - love, love, love that movie!). Just clips really - but hey, if you throw those addicted fans (like me) a bone... Well.. We kind af live for those moments (at least I do). I just can't get enough.

The same goes for the videos about the Callica-angle in "Grey's Anatomy".
I guess you'd be seeing a kind of a pattern here... And I admit to that too - all lesbian in movies and TV-series... I'm for it. Surprise!!!
The biggest problem about Grey's Anatomy is that I can't see it - unless when it has been posted on YouTube (so Hester aka BetweenThaLines - I'm forever gratefull).

Besides the occasionally movie or series for, with and about lesbians - there's the Internet. Thank you-know-who for AE (AfterEllen.com).
So far it has totally covered my needs as to updates in the "community" but then agian - I haven't been out there for that long. Don't think I'll be needing anyone bigger than AE though. It's got a bit about - and for - everyone. Amazing actually. Recommendable.

The L Word

I was just watching "The L Word" season 5, episode 10 (once again....just love it!!), and I realized, that when Kit sees Molly at the Subaru Pink Ride (or what it's called), and she turns to Shane to tell her that Molly is there... She actually calls Shane Kate - which is her real name, but still.... didn't quite catch that the first time. It's at bit funny.

I know this isn't quite the obvious first blog post, but it was the first thing that came to mind, so...

Guess I'll write something more later, but untill then...

Keep safe - and remember.

1 minute of anger is 60 seconds of happiness lost....
